Meet the maker | Why I started making jewellery?
A warm welcome to you.
I’m Adam, 45, born in Tamworth Staffordshire.

These days, Kettering, Northants is where I call home. Shared with my Wife Louise and two dogs: Chip and Bailey.
I grew up in public houses (or pubs) ran by my parents. My childhood was colourful and a whirlwind of football related weekend punch ups and relentless passive smoking.
But when the bad bits weren’t happening, the good bits came in strong and memorable.
I loved playing Pool and darts competitions and staying up late for the occasional lock in with some select locals.
We’d talk shit until early hours and eat mums amazing chicken curry and chips.. happy times!

Pass out parade day 1998, 17 year old me with proud parents.
I spent 10 years as an Avionics Technician working on Harrier GR7 and Nimrod MR2 aircraft.
I Left the RAF in 2007 to work in offshore Oil & Gas where I enjoyed 8 years on Survey Ships before being made redundant in 2015.
At this point, I didn’t know what I wanted to do since I had been in charge of my own destiny up until then.

After a rough year at the start of 2017, I finally fell into a job in the medical industry as an ultrasound field engineer and haven’t looked back.

This is ‘Angela’ my Alto Saxophone
Named after the lady I bought her from who had to let her go due to an illness.
Whenever I play her, I always focus on the positives. It’s so easy to crucify yourself for missing a note or not getting that tune you’ve been working on quite right.
